Chicago Restaurant Week in Wrigleyville

Chicago’s 12th Annual Restaurant Week, 2 weeks of culinary delights is taking place this year from January 25th to February 9th. With over 400 of Chicago and neighboring suburbs’ favorites and hot restaurants allow foodies plenty of opportunities to try new places and enjoy their go tos.  What makes this 2 week-long event a favorite among Chicagoans is the prices. Prix fixe specials start at $26 for lunch/brunch, $36 and/or $48 for dinner at participating restaurants (excluding tax and beverages).

Seven Wrigleyville restaurants are participating and have posted their offerings. Below are all your options to find one, two or all of these places to visit!

Bites brunch 1st course Caesar salad or garlic Edamane, 2nd course jumbo shrimp Shumai; taro fries; emerald gyoza; Mom’s BBQ Pork Bun. 3rd course Chicken and Pandan Waffles; Duck and cornbread waffles; coconut milk French toast; bites BBLT, 4th course is either cookie dough chopstix or fried roti and condensed milk for $24.

Bites’s lunch 1st course Caesar salad or garlic Edamane, 2nd course jumbo shrimp Shumai or taro fries or emerald gyoza, 3rd course Shiri-Chedda Burger; The Polynesian (Spicy fried Chicken thigh); Singapore noodles; Yuzo-Orange chicken, 4th course is either ice cream sandwich or cookie dough chopstix for $24.

Bites dinner 1st course Caesar Salad or Garlic Edamane, 2nd course tuna tostada; General’s Duck Leg; basil cream mussels or Emerald Gyoza. The 3rd course Yuzo-Orange Chicken; Squid ink Fried Rice; Softshell crab pad Thai; General Tso Good Chicken Sandwich. 4th Course is either blueberry Yuzo cheesecake or Thai iced coffee tiramisu for $36. Free $25 gift card for every $75 you spend valid after February 7th not valid Valentine’s Day.

Dutch and Doc’s brunch is Saturday & Sunday from 10AM-2PM. 1st course breakfast pastries for the table that include donut holes, sticky buns and scones. 2nd course Quiche; breakfast sammy; French Toast; Serrano ham benedict; Quinoa and Kale, also choose one cocktail from Mimosa. Bellini, Bloody Mary or Seasonal Mocktail for$24.

Dutch and Doc’s dinners 1st course is Hummus with sweet potato; baked brie; meatballs, 2nd course roast chicken; crispy skin bass; Orecchiette, 3rd course Passionfruit Tart or fresh baked triple cookie for $36 or add steak frites (+$12).

Hutch’s brunch is daily from 10AM-3PM. 1st course is Totchos (1/2 order) or nutella dough poppers. 2nd course is traditional breakfast; Chilaquiles; scrambled egg tacos; big biscuit and fried chicken; Clark St. omelette; Lakeview omelette; b-fast wrap; bistro sandwich. Also choice of glass of prosecco or sucker punch for $24.

Hutch’s dinner 1st course skillet shrimp; meatballs; pork belly (both are ½ orders), 2nd course Steak ‘n Fries; pan-seared salmon; baby back ribs; double cut pork chop; panko crusted chicken; grilled meatloaf; bistro bowl; spaghetti Pomodoro. A glass of wine included with a choice of prosecco, chardonnay or red blend for $36.

Low Country’s dinner 1st course is seafood gumbo; broccoli salad; pickled veggies. The 2nd course is ½ pound of Shrimp (Head Off), ½ pound of Snow Crab Legs, 3 pieces of corn, 3 pieces of potatoes, 1 cup of green beans smothered in your choice of sauce. With 2 pieces of honey butter jalapeño cornbread on the side. 3rd course Beignets or deep fried Oreos for $36 or add ½ pound of Snow Crab (+$10), Add ½ pound of King Crab (+$18) Add 8oz Lobster Tail (+$20).

Mia Francesca dinner’s 1st course is Minestone di Verdure; Insalata alla Francesca; Bruschette alla Romana. The 2nd Course is Fettuccine alla Carbonara; Salmone alla Fresca; Pollo Arrosto all Romana. 3rd Course is a choice of Chocolatey Torta Lava or Tiramisu. A 5 oz glass of wine is included and can choose from Hess “Shirttail Ranches” Chardonnay or Masciarelli Montepulciano D’abruzzo for $36.
Mordecai offers dinner 1st course wedge salad or roasted cauliflower Soup, 2nd course seared Skate Wing; brown ale glazed pork country ribs; Portobello Bolognes. 3rd course butterscotch pudding or 1.5Oz Whisky Pour for $36.

Smoke Daddy’s Brunch-Saturday and Sunday from 10AM-2PM. 1st course house-made monkey bread, 2nd course pulled pork benedict or brisket breakfast skillet with your choice of Bloody Mary or Mimosa for $24.
Smoke Daddy’s Lunch 1st course jalapeno beer cheese or Division Street Chili. 2nd course smoked meat platter or The Daddy-O and key lime pie for $24.

Smoke Daddy’s Dinner: 1st course pulled meat nachos or smoked BBQ wings 2nd course chicken and ribs or “Taste of the Daddy” which is choice or ribs and 2 smoked meats 3rd course key lime pie or iron skillet Cookie for $36.
