The Crosstown Classic is taking place this Mother’s Day at Wrigley Field with a game time of 1:20 PM. There will be plenty of things to do and places to brunch at. Get out early to avoid lines and have more time to enjoy various bottomless Mimosa options! Some of these brunch options include Hutch Bistro, Bites, Kanela Breakfast Club and Brickhouse. If baseball isn’t your mom’s thing, there are still plenty of options around the area. Take a casual stroll through the neighborhood to see the transformation that is happening. Hotel Zachary is a great place to stop and check out the patio overlooking Gallagher Way formerly the Park at Wrigley. Many new restaurants are now open in the hotel so this could be a great dinner option later in the day or your next venture around Wrigleyville. The Addison and Clark building is showing great progress and expected to open later this summer.

As you enjoy your stroll you may just end up at a place for ice cream and dessert such as the newly opened Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream! If your mom is into board games, check out the newly opened board game cafe, Bonus Round, or the classic Guthrie’s Tavern for your favorite childhood games! If more active games are what interest mom, check out Sluggers for the arcade, or Neisi’s Lounge or Blarney Stone for darts, pool, or foosball. Now let’s take Mom shopping in Wrigleyville. There are many unique stores that may have mom’s interest in visiting. Cubs and Chicago apparel stores are all around with places like Sports World, Wrigleyville Sports or Clark Street Sports. There are also places she could rock out like at the Alley or mellow out at Amigos and Us. Nuts on Clark is a great pit stop to stock up on some snacks for now or later.

Now it’s time to allow mom to relax at VIP Feet Spa or Reflexion’s Spa, or get her nails done at Nas Salon and Spa. This Mother’s Day take your mom in Wrigleyville where she can enjoy a delicious brunch while enjoying a Mimosa or two or three and then explore the area. Enjoy snacks and treats along the way while shopping and then relaxing end to her day. Going out in Wrigleyville allows your mom many different great options to spend time with her family.
