Things to do in Wrigleyville for Valentine’s Day

There are some many things to do in Chicago but the best way to spend time with your significant is during one of these special Wrigleyville events. Whether its concerts in Wrigleyville, a game night, a hotel getaway or the classic dinner for two come to Wrigleyville for a special Valentine’s Day.

Quit playing games with their heart and instead play some marvelous two player games; at Bonus Round Game Café on Valentine’s Day. Their event has two seating times of 6PM or 9PM that includes 2 games passes, a bottle of wine and 2 house-dipped chocolate strawberries for $25 for members and $35 for non-members.

Union Full Board allows you to celebrate your love of pizza with the love of your life. The regular menu will be available along with some specials like scallops for $14 or striped sea bass $28. Reservations are available. Next door at the Wheelhouse Hotel consider booking the “Don’t Get Out of Your Robe’ package where the two of you can relish in a $75 restaurant credit, in-room champagne, roses, locally-made chocolates, a Wheelhouse robe and slippers to take home, couples massage. This $650 package is available for the nights of February 14th, 15th and 16th.

Sheffield’s Valentine’s evening has a special additional food offerings like Shrimp Cocktail, Spaghetti and Meatballs and finish with red velvet cake. Drink specials include 20% off vintage bottles, 50% off other bottles of wine or $7 for a glass of wine. Beer deals include $4 Breckenridge Brewery Chi Ridge Drafts and $5 other featured Breckenridge Brewery drafts. Galentines Day for all your gals has same offers but instead of 20% off vintage bottles enjoy $9 Old Fashions and Manhattans; make this a girl’s night out in Wrigleyville.

El Jardin has a Valentine’s Special for $29.95 that includes a quesadilla appetizer, chicken and steak fajita dinner and finish with a dessert.

Royal Indian Grill Valentine’s week special is valid until the end of February that allows 25% off your check when you mention their Facebook post.

HVAC will serenade its Valentine’s guests with a night of Al Green and Marvin Gaye live tribute band performances. The event on Thursday the 14thstarts at 8PM and will be $10 cover to enjoy the rhythm of soul and R&B music.

Mia Francesca’s Valentine’s Day dining experience is available starting Thursday the 14th until Sunday the 17th. The multi-course special features creamy Lobster Bisque, succulent Cappellacci Tre-Funghetti, and indulgent truffle-topped Filetto with lobster cakes. Lastly, end the night on a delectable note with lemon-blueberry napoleon. The regular menu will be available as well as reservations.

Bites has a three course dinner for Valentine’s Day as well as the weekend. This $30 per person meal starts offer with a selection of 5 1st courses but my favorite is the spicy crab Rangoon. The 2nd course is a choice of Yuzo-orange chicken, crab ramen Alfredo, tofu pad Thai, the “Bite Me” or the “Lava”. Lastly finish up with the blueberry Yuzu cheesecake, Thai iced coffee tiramisu or the cookie dough chopsticks.

Uncommon Ground offers a three course meal that includes a Gruet rose toast. Highlighted with a roasted pear and walnut salad, with entrée selections like beef tenderloin, scallops, vegan stir fry or mushroom ravioli. Follow that up with a sweet treat of either tiramisu, pistachio semifreddo or mango and dark cherry crisp. They also have drink specials like The Agripolitan, Blood Orange Saison or glasses or a bottle of Gruet Sparkling Rose. Stop by Uncommon Ground and the 13th and attend a special event “Lets talk about Love” a selection of love poems and wine pairings. Tickets are 2 for $50 which includes your seat, a bottle of wine and a copy of the book. Lastly Uncommon ground has their Ground Up Showcase on the 14th where listeners can hear three talented acts for an $8 cover with doors opening at 630PM for the 7PM show.

PR Bistro Chef Blackboard menu is highlighted with lobster-stuffed fried saffron risotto ball, a variety of pastas, Chilean sea bass, duck breast or lamp chops. All these specials are individually priced for a special Valentine’s Day dinner. Reservations are highly encouraged.

Hotel Zachary is an offering a Wrigleyville romance package that is available in their many suite rooms. The package includes sparkling wine, West Town Bakery sweets in the room and $100 food credit for dinner at Mordecai. The package starts as low as $449 but with different suite room’s available one suite goes for $1,000. This package is available for the rest of February.

Brickhouse Tavern is hosting Tbox February Happy Hour Event the Valentine Do-Over Party. So if Valentine’s Day wasn’t great you should stop by Friday February 15th from 7PM-10PM to enjoy a food buffet, games and prizes along with three drink tickets for only $5 for the early birds and then just $10 for the rest of the sales.
