Welcome to April in Chicago where there are plenty of things to do in Wrigleyville. There will be many different bar events, trivia and concerts in Wrigleyville. Things to Do in Wrigleyville:
Monday April 8th the Wrigley Field Opening Day Blue Beer and Brunch Party. Get your tickets HERE. They include your admission blue beer, a brunch with hot dogs, eggs, potatoes, peanuts and cracker jacks. Buy you tickets today for the early bird pricing. First Responders Benefit Crawl Saturday at 1PM. TBOX will be holding a 100% Charity Benefit Bar Crawl in Wrigleyville on April 6, 2019, benefiting 3 great First Responders Charities: First In Foundation, Ignite The Spirit, and Brotherhood for the Fallen. Tickets are $20 and allows access to Drink specials and food will be along the way. T-shirts and other swag will be given out also. Murphy’s Bleachers check in and Plain White T’s performance at a yet to be named bar. Find tickets and more information HERE. HVAC trivia on Tuesday’s on the 2nd of April with a Bob’s Burger theme and Breaking Bad on April 9th both at 7PM. Specials include $3 Tullamore Dew shots and $4 rotating beer. HVAC also has a murder mystery event Saturday April 27th at 5PM that is followed by a John Mayer Live band Tribute. Both events need tickets, $25 for the murder mystery and $10 for the concert. Redmond’s Paint Nite on Saturday April 6th at 1pm for $35 but tickets are limited. A Game of Thrones themed party; A Crawl of Ice and Fire. Saturday April 6th from Noon -8PM in Wrigleyville with locations announced soon. 100% of ticket proceeds will be donated to K9forKeeps, Lakeview Food Pantry, and the 100 Club of Chicago. Friday April 12 at 7PM Golden Easter Egg Happy Hour at Sandlot for only $5 featuring 3 drink tickets and a food buffet! Plus chances to win prizes with Golden Easter Eggs that will be handed out!
Thursday April 18th at 8PM at The Irish Oak is featuring a Dad Joke Competition. Contest will have 16 contestants, 2 at a time, bracket style. Every time a contestant laughs the other receives a point. First one to 5 points moves on to the next round!
Live Music and Concerts in Wrigleyville:
Acoustic Parties every Thursday at 8PM at Houndstooth Saloon. This free event features new acts each week. Specials include $2 Mini-Wiches. $3 College Beer, $5 Bombs and $6 40oz Beers. Jazz Jams every first and third Thursday at Uncommon Ground free from 7PM-10PM. After Cubs opening day on April 8th, head to the new Beerhead Bar and Eatery for a 430PM show with Gina Gonzalez. Saturday April 13th at 430PM enjoy one of the over 400 beers and Jack Byron as he performs a mix of The Lumineers, Tom Petty, Jonny Cash and more.
