Things to do in Wrigleyville this January and February

People may typically think to stay in during the winter months in Chicago but with so many great Chicago events in Wrigeyville it will be hard to decide what events to attend.

Bar Crawls and Bar Events

The Pajama bar crawl February 9th from 11AM-6PM enjoy drinking in your PJs as you stroll along Clark Street to some of Chicago best bars with drink specials and a breakfast brunch. If you want to wear you pajama in January make sure you attend PaJamuary at Cubby Bear on January 25th at 8PM. Enjoy a party in you PJs with EGI, Stampy, Chchuba and Goose. Early bird tickets from $4.20 then $10 in your PJs or $15 no PJs. Flapjacks and Flannels is taking place at Old Crow on January 26th from noon to 6pm. Start with brunch and then onto drink specials as you don your lumberjack attire. Beer Pong at Rizzo’s is hosted by the World Series of Beer Pong and you can play in 8 weeks of action to compete for your share of $1,000 and entry into The World Series of Beer Pong® XIV. Tickets are $40 with the event starting Thursday January 31st and ending Friday March 22nd. Prohibition Day Party January 16th at Sheffield’s featuring classic cocktails like $9 Old Fashions and Manhattans. Or celebrate with $5 Odell Brewing draft beer and $7 glasses of wine or ½ off bottles of wine. Chicago Whiskey and Wine Festival Saturday February 23rd with two sessions, one at 12PM and one at 4:30PM. Tickets start at $30 that include a souvenir tasting glass and 15 tasting tickets along with entertainment all at Old Crow Smokehouse.

Watch Parties

NFL playoffs with the Chargers where their fans will be cheering at Full Shilling and the Indianapolis Colts with fans going to Sluggers for all the action. College basketball action will take place at Merkle’s with Xavier, Brickhouse with Kansas, and Graystone with Gonzaga. Bachelor watch parties will be taking place at both Brickhouse with $10 heart shaped pizzas and $36 bottles of wines and Greystone with Bachelor Bingo, $18 bottles of wine, $4 Angry Orchard, half-priced wings, complimentary shots every Monday.

Things to do

1920s Murder Mystery at Room 13 Saturday February 16th at 6:30 PM make sure you buy your tickets which are $45 early as they will sell out. Or Wine and Dine with HVAC on Thursday January 17th at 7pm presented by Night Moose. Paint your pet and sip at Stretch on Sunday February 10th from 1pm-4pm. Tickets are $40 per person. You will get to paint on a pre-traced canvas of your pet while a portion of ticket sales will be donated to Harmony House for Cats!

In honor of the 20th Anniversary a live tribute band for Blink 182 will be playing “Enema of the State in its entirety. Tickets will be $10 for the February 28th show which starts at 8PM.

Culinary Events

West Meets East in the Midwest Culinary experience Thursday February 7th with seating times at 5:15 and 7:45. Email you time slot, number of guest and call back number to $150 per person Includes Moët toast, crafted cocktail and A Six course menu paired with wine. Tax and gratuity are not included in the $150 per person cost.
